Meet Shannon Henry: Chamber Ambassador

Shannon Henry is a dedicated Ambassador and an active member of the Chamber community. As Business Development Officer for Our Community Credit Union, she approaches her work with energy, professionalism, and a strong belief in building meaningful relationships.

When she first became involved with the Chamber, Shannon quickly recognized the value of connecting with fellow professionals and community partners. Her consistent engagement at networking events led naturally to a deeper involvement with the organization. “I already felt like part of the group,” she shared. “Joining the Ambassador Committee just made sense.”

Since then, Shannon has embraced the opportunity to foster new connections and support local businesses. “What I enjoy most is getting to know the other Ambassadors,” she said. “Each person brings something unique, and being part of such a supportive team has helped me grow in my role.”

For Shannon, the most rewarding part of being an Ambassador is seeing the impact of relationship-building in action. Whether it’s organizing events or welcoming new members, she finds purpose in helping others feel seen, supported, and connected.

Outside of her committee work, Shannon stays actively engaged in the local business community. She believes in the importance of showing up and participating, both for the benefit of her organization and to strengthen the broader network. “The Chamber does so much for our local businesses,” she said. “I’m proud to be part of that and to play a small role in helping others succeed.”

Through her time as an Ambassador, Shannon has grown not just in her professional role, but as a connector within the community. Her approach reflects the Chamber’s mission to foster a strong, connected business environment, and she’s proud to be part of that work.

If you’re a new member looking to get more involved—or simply hoping to make new connections—Shannon is always happy to answer questions and help you find your footing. Don’t hesitate to introduce yourself at the next Chamber event.
