Help Us Meet $20,000 Goal

There’s something special about driving through downtown Shelton on a summer morning and spotting the vibrant flower baskets that brighten key corridors. These bursts of color are more than seasonal décor. They are a symbol of community pride and a warm welcome to all who live, work, and visit here.

Since 1999, the Shelton-Mason County Chamber has helped bring these blooms to life through its annual beautification program. Each summer, the flower baskets return as a cheerful reminder of what makes our community shine. Paired with our Vintage Christmas Décor, this program has become one of the Chamber’s most beloved and visible traditions.

The success of Shelton’s beautification efforts is deeply rooted in collaboration. From the businesses and individuals who sponsor baskets to the crews who install and maintain them, it takes a team to make Shelton bloom. The Chamber is grateful to its community partners including the City of Shelton, Green Diamond Resource Company, Mason PUD 3, Hood Canal Communications, and Skookum Rotary for their continued commitment to these efforts.

There is a significant cost associated with the materials, maintenance, and manpower needed to carry out this work.

We need to raise nearly $20,000 to reach our fundraising goal. The amount collected determines how many baskets we can hang and funds the lighting for Christmastown.

Businesses or individuals may sponsor a flower basket for $300 each. Many choose to dedicate them in honor of a loved one, celebrate a milestone, or simply take part in the shared responsibility of keeping Shelton beautiful. General contributions of any amount are also welcome and appreciated.
