CANADA TRIVIA The name "Canada" is thought to come from the Iroquois word "kanata" meaning "settlement." We call it the LiteRail Display System, and it will soon be seen around the country! The LiteRail is a lightweight, permanently-fixed display rail that will house both Ultra and Univision merchandising assets. This presentation will embody our brand promise to give you best-in-class retail materials, thus driving sales and promoting recurring flow of traffic. The LiteRail Display System is designed to exhibit our posters and 8.5" x 11" rate sheets in a way that tells a story our customers will understand and appreciate. We're also in the process of delivering a new poster format designed for use in the LiteRail Display System, for both Ultra and Univision. This new poster lineup will formulate an in-store presentation specific to the customer profiles that make up your primary and secondary traffic flow. We’ve created a new format for our Country plan posters that uses less space than a traditional poster, allowing you to display multiple posters on a single wall. You pick the countries, and our designated Account Executives will do the rest! This month, we'll be adding LiteRail Display Systems to select locations in our top markets. LiteRail is still in its early stages, but we are working to make sure it's the perfect exhibition space for your Ultra and Univision marketing collateral. For me, it was all about financial independence. Financial independence will allow unlimited cash potential and having the money to buy the things you need and want, and entrepreneurship can allow you to achieve it. Of course money doesn't buy happiness, but it can make finding happiness much easier! WHAT HAVE BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGES AT WORK? In this industry, there's a lot to learn. People ask me how I learned about mobile phone repair, PR, social media and all the other marketing techniques I utilize. I tell them I learned about them the same way I learned skills like balancing a budget and negotiating a lease – I wouldn't survive in the mobile telecommunication space without them! Developing new skills can be tough and time-consuming, but it really does pay off in spades.

WHEN DID YOU START WORKING FOR ULTRA? I started working for Ultra in December of 2012, when the company consisted of a small handful visionaries and entrepreneurs. We were huddled in three office spaces measuring 10' x 10', with up to four people per room, and started what is now one of the most successful international wireless carriers in the country.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ULTRA OFFERS THAT NO OTHER COMPANY DOES? That’s easy: a customer-first mentality. Every business-related conversation we have is always centered on our customers' needs to connect with anyone in the world at any time, at a cost within their financial means. We not only pride ourselves on our plans and pricing models – we're also about customer care, in-store support, and

innovating with new tools to make our customers' user experiences best in class. I’ve been working in the wireless industry for almost 16 years, and I can honestly say Ultra Mobile is one of the good guys.

AS VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING, CAN YOU TALK A BIT ABOUT SOME OF THE NEW MARKETING COLLATERAL ON DECK FOR ULTRA AND UNIVISION RETAILERS IN 2017? Absolutely! Our team is extremely excited to be releasing some very innovative instore collateral and display systems over the next couple months. As a leader within the marketing organization, I’ve focused on building a team of talented creative visionaries. People who understand wireless retail and how to successfully marry premium creative design with a focus on customer acquisition and brand affinity, resulting in what will be some of Ultra Mobile’s best work yet. We have introduced new form factors, visual brand IDs, Ultra TV enhancements and our newest creation the “LiteRail Display System,” which will be hitting selected Retailers soon!

TIME FOR SOME PERSONAL QUESTIONS: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO EXERCISE? I love exercise, but not so much the "traditional" gym setting. Instead, I spend my workout hours in the dojo where I hold the rank of "Sandan," or 3rd degree black belt, in Shotokan Karate. I’ve also been an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the past 11 years.

OUT OF ALL YOUR FAVORITE MOVIES, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BET YOU'VE SEEN THE MOST TIMES? Man, that’s a hard one! Perhaps it’s the season that brings this one to mind, but I’d have to say National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. This movie will never get old to me – I could watch it every day and still laugh at the same jokes as if it were my first time seeing it.

THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS UPON US! WHAT DO YOU MOST LOOK FORWARD TO AT THIS TIME OF YEAR? The lights! Driving down a city street or residential neighborhood and seeing the lights up, while listening to holiday music – that is something I look forward to every year. It’s also one of the few times a year that everyone takes a pause in their busy lives to connect with friends and family. Whether it is to celebrate the holidays, or maybe just to say hello, it’s always a treat to reconnect with those you care for.
