Our #1 tip for National Wellness Month is to stay connected. Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Robert Waldinger, is the director of an 80-yearlong study on longevity. Following the
lives of 268 men, the study proved that embracing community helps us live longer lives. “Loneliness,” reports Waldinger, “is as powerful as smoking or alcoholism.”¹ Practicing simple, healthy habits like setting aside time for a regular text or call with a friend are easy ways you can prioritize your well-being.
Tending to your relationships is a form of self-care, just like taking care of your body! When it comes to exercise, a little goes a long way. Brief amounts of activity have health benefits, and research shows that 11 minutes of physical activity a day lowers the risk of death by nearly 25%.² When you’re not in motion, increasing your water consumption is one of the best things you can do for your body. When it’s time for bed, adjusting your sleep habits will improve how your body recovers from the day’s stressors.

A strong password should be something only you can identify. It must be at least 10 characters long with an upper and lowercase letter, a number and a special character.
