Existing collateral with the old logo is OK to still have in store, and we are still keeping some marketing materials. PRESS PAUSE ON FRAUD!
Learn how to protect your business & community from fraud.
Ultra Mobile has zero tolerance for fraud. We want to keep your business safe, so you can continue providing your community with all their wireless needs. But what happens if a Customer walks in asking to activate 5 or more lines, without the phones they want to activate? Press pause!
This suspicious activity is an indication of fraud. It’s likely that this “Customer” is planning to use an Ultra Mobile number only for dubious, sometimes criminal, short-term means. As an Ultra Retailer, you are our first line of defense against fraud.
KNOW WHEN TO PRESS PAUSE:
Unusual purchasing behavior:
If a Customer tries to buy many lines quickly and all at once — especially if they’re new or don’t have a history of buying — press pause.
Suspicious payment methods:
If a Customer uses strange payment types, makes many purchases in a short time span or has a shipping address that doesn’t match the billing address, press pause.
No device for in-store activation:
If a Customer is only focused on purchasing SIM cards but no phones to go with them, press pause.
Withholding information:
If a Customer hesitates to give personal details or their information seems incomplete or inconsistent, press pause.
Rushing or distracting: Fraudsters may try to rush the process or create distractions to keep you from noticing any of these common red flags!
Stay alert, take action and press pause. Your vigilance is the key to protecting yourself, your friends, your neighbors and Ultra Mobile! Thank You!
