Norwalk Social Services & Senior Brochure Winter 2026

Page 1

Dear Norwalk residents,

As winter blankets our city in cooler days and quiet reflection, we are reminded of the power of kindness and the strength of a caring community. This season, the Department of Social Services is focused on giving back, supporting our neighbors, and nurturing connections that make Norwalk a place we are proud to call home.

Our team is here to ensure that every resident feels seen, supported, and valued. You may be seeking guidance through our case management programs, accessing resources for veterans or families, or looking for meaningful ways to get involved. We are ready to walk alongside you.

At the Norwalk Senior Center, winter brings opportunities to learn, create, and connect in warm and welcoming ways. Our programs include fitness and wellness classes, engaging workshops, social events, and outings, all designed to keep our community active, inspired, and supported. Through our Senior Nutrition and food assistance programs, we continue to ensure that no one goes without nourishing meals during the colder months.

This year we continue the momentum of turning 25 years at the Norwalk Senior Center, celebrating decades of supporting our senior population and strengthening our vibrant community. As we give back and care for one another, we hope you find moments of connection, joy, and support. Attending a community event, sharing time with neighbors, or reaching out for guidance are all ways we strengthen our Norwalk family.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you. Together, we can make this winter a season of warmth, generosity, and shared care.

Warm regards,
