Dear Norwalk residents,

As autumn settles upon our city, we are reminded of the beauty in change and the strength that comes from community. The fall season brings with it a time for reflection, reconnection, and renewal, values that lie at the heart of the Department of Social Services.

During this time of year, we remain committed to supporting residents of all ages with services that promote well-being, independence, and belonging. You may be seeking guidance through our case management program, exploring resources for veterans and their families, or looking for meaningful ways to stay engaged. Our team is here to walk alongside you.

At the Norwalk Senior Center, fall ushers in new opportunities to learn, create, and connect. Our seasonal programs include enriching workshops, fitness and wellness classes, special events, and excursions, all thoughtfully designed to support active, vibrant aging. We continue to offer our Senior Nutrition and food assistance programs to ensure every resident has access to nourishing meals during the colder months ahead.

As the year draws to a close, we are especially mindful of the importance of community. You might be attending a holiday event, sharing a meal with neighbors, or reaching out for support. We hope you feel a strong sense of connection and care.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. It is our honor to serve the Norwalk community, and we look forward to walking with you into a season filled with warmth, gratitude, and possibility.

Warm regards,
