WRITING LETTERS TO VETERANS The monthly meeting of November brought the Plano East Key Clubbers together for an informational shares and also a wonderful service activity. This service activity was suggested by our lovely officers and allowed our members to tap into their creative side. The students were writing and drawing letters for veterans since Veterans Day was just around the corner (November 11th). We advised our Key Clubbers to follow guidelines such as an opening of “Dear Hero” or “Dear Brave One,” writing a little note expressing gratitude for the veterans’ service, sharing hobbies, and drawing small illustrations. These guidelines were followed promptly in order to aid in the screening process.
