I ask top agents all the time, “How important is it to work with businesses that you know and trust?” And, every single time, they tell me that working with great businesses is crucial to their success as an agent. Having partners that are not only communicative, but also who will go above and beyond to serve the clients and to preserve the rela tionships of everyone involved, is a gamechanger in this business.
Recently, a top-producing agent posted this on Facebook: “It matters who you work with. It really does. Partner with people who you or your REALTOR® know and trust. It takes a team of professionals to get the transaction to the finish line, and I am thankful to partner with people who set my clients (and me) up for success!”
Truer words have never been spoken! It takes an enormous team, across many indus tries, to successfully close a transaction.
This is why I love our RP Vetted Businesses! Each of the businesses that are in our magazine and that come to our events have been recommended by top-producing real estate agents, vetted by our team, and continuously monitored to ensure they maintain a standard of excellence.
In an interview with one of our team members, a Real Producing Agent said, “I was so excited to find out that Real Producers has this vetted list of trusted businesses. It is awesome! It makes me more comfortable using the businesses that have been vetted by other top producers. This is a solid list!” We hear that all the time!
So, RP vetted businesses, thank you for continually striving to be the best for yourself and for the agents that you serve. We wouldn’t be the most elite real estate community in DFW if it weren’t for you.
Real Producers magazine started in Indianapolis in 2015 and is now in over 100 markets across the nation and continues to spread rapidly. Real Producers first launched in DFW in August 2018 with North DFW Real Producers (now called “North Dallas”). In May 2019, Dallas Real Producers launched, and then Tarrant Real Producers in March 2021.
In 2022, Tarrant Real Producers split into two publications, North Fort Worth and Fort Worth Real Producers Fort Worth Real Producers launched in August 2022!
A: The top 500 real estate agents in each of the four markets in DFW, based on their annual residential sales production for the previous year, as recorded on the MLS. Refer to the map in this publication for the exact territories. If your broker address is within that given territory, and you are in the top 500, you will receive that publication for the year. There are approximately 60,000 licensed real estate agents in DFW. The list will reset at the end of every year and continue to update annually.
A: We believe that we are better together. When we surround ourselves with other successful, like-minded people, we grow to new heights. Real Producers is a platform that brings together the most elite individuals in DFW real estate.
We take the top 500 real estate agents and RP Vetted Businesses in every market, and we build an exclusive community around that group. We share their stories, successes, market trends, and upcoming events
— really, anything that will connect, inform, and inspire, we put in our monthly publication.
It is important to note that Real Producers is not a brag book. To be in the top 1-2% in your field takes a lot of grit, passion, hard work, trials, tribulations, and a strong “why” to keep pushing on. Real Producers is about sharing and honoring those stories and humanizing you and your peers to create a culture of honor and collaboration that propels us all to the next level.
A: Yes! Each year we have several events. Some are specific to each territory, and some are shared events for all four DFW Real Producers markets. We have several different types of events, such as magazine celebration events, partners-only events, social events, mastermind/ educational style events, and of course, the annual black-tie awards gala called The ESPE Awards. For these events, we invite the top 500 real estate agents and our RP-vetted businesses. Top 500 agents are allowed to invite members of their team, as well. These events are an incredible opportunity to connect with the best of the best in DFW real estate. It is amazing to see the power in the connections made at these events. Be on the lookout for your exclusive invites!
Q: WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR BEING FEATURED IN THIS MAGAZINE?
A: It’s really simple. You have to be on the top 500 list, and we take nominations seriously. You can nominate other real estate agents, businesses, brokers, owners, or even yourself! Office leaders can also nominate real estate agents. We will consider anyone brought to our attention who is in the top 500 because we don’t know everyone’s story, so we need your help to learn about them. We cannot guarantee a feature, but we encourage you to meet with one of our team members, support Real Producers and attend our private events to increase your chances.
You can email your nominations to jordan.espeseth@n2co.com.
Q: WHAT DOES IT COST A REAL ESTATE AGENT/TEAM TO BE FEATURED?
A: Zero, zilch, zippo, nada, nil. It costs nothing, my friends, so nominate away! We are not a pay-toplay model. We share real stories of Real Producers.
Q: WHO ARE THE RP-VETTED BUSINESSES?
A: They are one of the best businesses in DFW in their category, and you can find them listed in our index! We don’t just find these businesses off the street, nor do we work with all businesses that approach us. One of many of the top real estate agents has recommended every single business you see in this publication. We won’t even meet with a business that has not been vetted by one of you and “stamped for approval,” in a sense. Our team will further vet every business to make sure they are a good fit and bring value to our community. Our goal is to create a powerhouse network, not only for the best real estate agents in the area but for the best businesses, as well, so we can grow stronger together. When you meet one of them, be sure to thank them for their continued support and for investing in you and your growth.
Q: HOW CAN I RECOMMEND A BUSINESS?
A: If you know and want to recommend a business that works with top real estate agents, please email us to let us know at jordan.espeseth@n2co.com.
It’s said that the surest way to reach the goals you have in life is to establish them, write them down, and then reach them by dedicating yourself to the needs of others.
Julie Baumgartner is a prime example of that powerful truth.
As a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Pinnacle Group, Julie pours herself into achieving her clients’ goals. Through time, Julie has led a true life of service — helping to create success for those around her.
One of the most powerful forms of Julie’s service is the duty she performed on behalf of her nation as part of the U.S. Army.
When she retired in March 2022 from the service after 26 years, she had ascended to the rank of Command Sargent Major.
Without a doubt, Julie was always on the move — even from an early age.
“We moved a lot … my parents were flipping houses before it was called flipping,” she remembers.
“I always had an interest in interior design and the core foundation items of a home that give a home value. I’ve always looked at a home as an asset.”
After high school, Julie went to college with the idea of teaching history.
Photos by: Landon Day, Daydream Photography“My parents had no intention of paying for college. My dad said, ‘You better join the army.’ I thought he was joking. One of the other things he said was, ‘You can’t be an MP, so guess what? I joined and became an MP. You can’t tell me I can’t do something,” she says with a smile.
Through her long and impactful military career, Julie served in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves. Along the way, she was deployed twice to Iraq (from 2004 to 2005; and from 2017 to 2018), and she served at a prison in Iraq.
“That was a very hard deployment. But one of the best things about it was the fact that I had met so many soldiers from Texas. I grew up in Michigan. I found the people from Texas to be very patriotic and hardworking. I felt the need to be in Texas,” Julie says.
“I decided I was never going to scrape my windows again and went to Texas. In 2005, I moved to Texas. I had never been to Texas. I loaded up a U-Haul and drove to Fort Worth.”
I’M IN THIS FOR THE
I BUILD
After Julie’s service was complete, she worked for the federal government. From there, she transitioned into working for a person running for state office.
After the campaign successfully completed, she moved on to enter the real estate business.
“I had flipped my own house. My husband would go on active duty, and I would renovate a property,” she says.
“I got my real estate license, and it has been smooth running ever since.”
The passion Julie has for her profession is easy to spot.
“I love my clients. I get to meet new people, and they all have great stories and personalities. I love working with people and helping them communicate what they truly want in a home,” she says.
“I view real estate as project management. My favorite part is when my clients and I become friends. It means a lot when they send pictures of their home and they ask my opinion and send me updates on their lives and homes.”
Julie loves working with veterans. She and her husband also enthusiastically enjoy their lifetime membership in the VFW. Julie is also a big supporter of women’s shelters.
When it comes to her free time, she finds that much of her time is consumed by her passion for her work. She is also interested in woodworking.
Talking with Julie, her honesty and integrity are clearly central to the way she approaches life and business.
“I’m in this for the relationships I build with people,” Julie says.
That’s the spirit that allows Julie to serve success everyday.

If you’re going to set out to do something, it’s best to give it your all and do your best, right? That’s the direction you take in life and in business as you serve the needs of others.
That’s why it means so much to partner with someone who puts that same level of dedication to work for you and your clients.
That’s the experience you get each day when you partner with Co-Owners Jerrimy Farris and Matt Andrews and the team at Texas Direct Roofing & Construction.
“Roofing and construction allows us to be creative and allows us to be a tool for people and partners. We aren’t a one-trick pony. We provide an array of services at a very high level. In addition to roofing, we also do kitchens, bathrooms, and floors,” Jerrimy says. “We also do a lot with outdoor living with everything from building pergolas to creating outdoor living/entertainment spaces … outdoor oasis work.”
As Matt says, he and Jerrimy enjoy being active owners.
“We still manage our own book of business. We are very much in the field and involved in the majority of the projects that come across our desks,” Matt explains. “We are very hands-on and in the thick of things. We don’t just delegate to others. We enjoy the customer interaction and the entire process of those projects too much. That’s my favorite part … staying involved in that level.”
In addition, Texas Direct Roofing handles water and fire mitigation and projects of all types and sizes.
“We are here to work with our REALTOR® partners to work through their list of items to be addressed that come out of the inspection reports,” Jerrimy says. “We can take their quote to fix things and get those taken care of, and we can do 100 percent of those things turnkey. We understand if we do a $100 repair for someone, they will remember the experience with us and how they were treated and they will call us for a larger project.”
The Start of Something Special Jerrimy and Matt have a history in the business that dates back through time. When they met, they were working for separate roofing companies. They became friends, compared notes about what they liked and didn’t like about the industry, and then decided to be the change they wanted to see in the world.
Their first job together with their new company was very hands-on. They had talked with a friend who asked if they could look at his back patio.
“Jerrimy and I got on Craig’s List and bought a table saw for $60. We went over and worked over the weekend and rebuilt the entire patio ourselves,” Matt remembers. “After we were done, we made $1,500 and bought our first embroidered polos, general liability insurance, and business cards. That’s how the business got started. That was about six years ago.”
Since then, they have continued to grow and expand their quality approach throughout the area.
Today, they have a full team of pros, including an office manager who handles calls, an insurance specialist, a marketing and recruiting team, and around ten project managers.
Family is at the heart of life for Jerrimy and Matt.
Jerrimy looks forward to time with his wife of 15 years, Calli, and their children — 15-year-old son, Khyler; 12-year-old daughter, Kenley, and 8-year-old daughter, Keelyn. In their free time, Jerrimy and Calli enjoy supporting their children in their sports and school activities. Jerrimy also likes to hunt and travel.
Matt treasures his family, too, including his wife of ten years, Kalsie, and
old son, Madden; and their 9-year-old son, Bowen. They are a big baseball family. They also have a passion for spending time outdoors … with camping, fishing, and hunting.
As Matt, Jerrimy, and their team continue to make a real impact for residents across the region, they also build on their reputation for results and quality. One example is Ryan Stephens, who was a customer before he joined the team.
As he says, “The thing that stood out to me is how often Jerrimy would come over and visit and how much he felt like a friend and not a project manager. I was impressed that Jerrimy cared as much about the little things as my wife and I did. The level of detail is fantastic. And it’s a huge plus that we stand behind the work for the life of the work.”
partner that will be there day-inand-day-out to provide you and your clients with full-service and total quality, look to Texas Direct Roofing & Construction.
“When a REALTOR® makes the decision to work with us, our number one goal is to help their client either buy or sell a home. We want them to have a good experience along the way,” Matt says.
“We understand the importance of that. It is a direct reflection on our partners. We take that very seriously. And it means a lot to us that they trust us enough to refer their clients to us.”

One of the most rewarding parts of life in this business is the fact that there’s always a new need that requires your expertise and experience.
That’s one of the drivers for Kristen Holle, as well.
As a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Fort Worth, Kristen applies her energetic spark and knowledge to helping her clients end up leaps and bounds ahead.
“I love the connections I make and people I get to know … in turn, becoming friends with them,” Kristen explains.
“It’s great meeting with them and figuring out what we have in common … then figuring out what I can help them with.
Through that process of meeting with them, we spend some time, we talk, and we figure out if it’s a right fit.”
Kristen grew up near Eagle Mountain Lake. As she came of age, she developed and honed a serious competitive drive.
“I was big into sports growing up. I’m the youngest of four. I played sports with my sister who is the closest in age to me,” Kristin remembers. “After high school, she went off to TCU to play volleyball there.”
It wasn’t long before Kristen joined her sister at TCU. Kristen earned a full-ride scholarship there and played all four years. In the process, she helped to lead the team to the Sweet 16.
In addition to enjoying an outstanding scholastic and athletic career at TCU, Kristen met her husband, Greg, who was a standout baseball player.
After graduation, Greg went on to enjoy a professional baseball career playing with the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
In the meantime, Kristen considered going into coaching. She earned her master’s degree and worked in the Athletic Department at TCU.
In time, Kristen felt that she was ready for a new direction.
“Greg was playing with the Brewers. My thought was if we were both traveling a lot, I wasn’t sure how it would work,” she remembers. “My high school offered me a coaching job, which I did for two years. I loved the coaching side.”
Time for a New Direction
When Greg retired from baseball, he opened his own baseball organization and formed select teams for youth competition.
“I thought now that he had something steady, it was time to bet on myself. I decided to go for real estate. I got my license in 2019, and we started our family,” she recalls.
“I realized quickly how much I love this. I can work as many or as few
hours as I want. It was a perfect fit. I wish I would have started right away.”
Family Fulfillment
Her most rewarding time comes at home with her family. Kristen and Greg have two children who they adore — their 3-year-old daughter, Brooklyn; and their 6-month-old son, Miles.
In their free time, Kristen and her family have a passion for traveling. Other favorite pursuits include going out to eat and watching movies.
As Kristen thinks about the progression of her career and her favorite
aspects of life, she sees a natural fit between real estate and her extensive background in sports.
“Sports have definitely played a huge role in how I am and how I approach life and business. I think it helps me stay calm even when things get crazy,” she says.
“I think sports are so valuable for kids to be involved with as they grow up, because competing with a group of people helps you to learn about working together and how to work through adversity … that life goes on no matter what. You keep going.”
I think sports are so valuable for kids to be involved with as they grow up, because competing with a group of people helps you to learn about working together and how to work through adversity.”
FINDING FULFILLMENT IN HIS LEADING ROLE
osh Mills has long created bigpicture success for himself and those around him … through broadcasting and creating/producing television and film content. He also does it each day as an impactful REALTOR® and Team Leader with Mills Real Estate Group with Epic National Realty.
Looking back, it’s fair to say that many of Josh’s gifts for communicating may have
“My grandfather, Frank Mills, was the first voice heard on Texas television,” Josh says. “He had also worked in radio with Ronald Reagan at WHO, and while at WBAP he interviewed JFK in Fort Worth, the day before the president was killed in Dallas.”
As he came of age, Josh made plans to follow in those illustrious footsteps himself. In fact, during college, he pursued his own Broadcast Journalism major. In addition, he worked as an Intern at Channel 5, KXAS, formerly WBAP where his grandfather helmed as an anchor.
There were other influences at work in Josh’s life, as well.
“My dad, David Mills, was not in radio or television. His chosen profession was real estate. My mom always instilled in me the importance of good credit and a tight budget,” Josh says. “My dad on the other hand was a heavy influence on my entrepreneurial spirit as well as the stability in land ownership. He enjoyed real estate. He was a land developer for many years and specialized in lakefront properties around Texas.”
After Josh wrapped up his TV news internship, he continued his passion for entertainment — moving to New York City where
he worked for Warner Brothers for three years — with roles creating daytime talk and reality television content.
After that, Josh returned to Texas and worked for a time with his father, learning more about real estate. It wasn’t long before he transferred out to Los Angeles with Warner Brothers.
“I was over the rain, fog, sleet, and snow of New York City,” he smiles. “When I moved to LA, I couldn’t shake the real estate bug. So, I got my license out there.”
Through time, Josh carried out dual roles.
“I did some part-time real estate while working in entertainment — doing dome freelance production work,” he recalls.
At the same time, Josh started his own production company in 2008 — going all-in with creating narrative and documentary films. In 2016, Josh made the decision to move back to Texas — bringing his independent production company with him.
In 2017, Josh re-entered the world of real estate, working with his dad at Mills & Associates. It wasn’t long before he honed his real estate path further.
“I was very interested in the residential side of the business. About six months in it, my dad told me that residential real estate wasn’t his forte. He encouraged me to go out and get some training if I wanted to work with individual doors. So, I went to Keller Williams and started my own team in Arlington.”
After about a year with Keller Williams, Josh was recruited and joined the team at Epic National Realty.
“Epic National Realty is a boutique brokerage, but it’s more of a technology based firm,” Josh explains. “When I got to Epic, it was extraordinarily efficient. In turn, it allowed me to be more productive and it allowed me to grow my team in a great way.”
Today, Josh proudly leads a team of four Agents, along with a staff, including an Operations Manager, Marketing and Social Media professionals, and an internal Media Specialist.
“My team has done a good job of being a team. They lean on each other with questions to help with ideas and showings. In my role, I’m essentially the manager, but I try to instill the opportunity of having a team to lean on. We help each other achieve annual goals.”
Josh is fully immersed in supporting the success of those around him in an industry he loves.
“If you’re able to take control of the time blocks in your schedule, it gives you the freedom to run your own business,” Josh says.
“At the same time, there are a lot of rewarding experiences, including those who are buying their first homes, as well as the bittersweet side … working with empty nesters who are walking away from the home they enjoyed with their children for 25 years. I love having the ability to know the more that you put in, the more you get out of it.”
Josh has quickly established himself and his team as a resource for results, and they do it while serving all segments of the market and all price points. In 2022, Josh and his team recorded more than 100 transactions.
Away from real estate, Josh continues his passion for film. He also enjoys time at the gym, as well as being outdoors. Additionally he plays the guitar and produces a podcast each week called the Time and Money network, which focuses on the benefits of mentorship in the business world.
When it comes to giving back, Josh is very engaged. He is an officer on the Board of Directors for the Lone Star Film Society.
“The organization brings awareness to the art of motion pictures in Texas, and we also host a film camp each Summer… the Johnny Langdon Film Education Initiative. These Summer camps instruct kids on the core fundamentals of making movies. As part of that, we provide some sponsorships for some of the students.”
Josh also supports the Gospel Mission in Downtown Fort Worth, as well as the VFW.
When you talk with Josh, it’s easy to see the passion he carries for life and work … with a selfless sense of service.
“Sometimes people don’t realize the amount of work that goes into the job of being a Real Estate Agent behind the curtain. I don’t want to sell people on doing something. If people want to buy or sell, it’s up to them and I want to help them make the right decisions. My motto is; it’s never about this deal. It’s about the next one. At the end of the day, if I do a good job for you, you may refer me to someone else.”
It’s clear that Josh Mills makes a lasting, positive impact for those around him each day … finding fulfillment in his leading role.
If you focus on it, there are plenty of examples of darkness and negativity that are just waiting to sidetrack you. But the one thing that will always shine through is the light that comes from believing in yourself.
Corey Daniel is a prime example of that spirit.
As a REALTOR® with Fathom Realty, Corey is a shining example of the power that exists through belief.
When Corey was just 16 years old, he had ventured down a dangerous path in life fueled by his upbringing.
“At that time, I spent a year being locked up. I remember being locked up and talking with my mom on a payphone. She said you will never do anything in life,” he remembers. “That was motivating to me. I’ve always had that grit and determination to prove other people otherwise.”
Step-by-step, Corey put that determination to work in getting on a positive track and building from there.
Corey grew up in LA. He played trumpet and was a band director before moving to Texas to get his master’s degree. He ended up teaching for ten years.
“My last year in education, I was burned out. I didn’t have any more to give,” he recalls. “Education is an important thing to give, and I didn’t want to short change the students by not being able to give my all. So I sat down with a friend who was a REALTOR® and decided to do real estate.”
Corey earned his real estate license in 2016 and has built success on the passion he has for helping people.
“I love my clients and getting to know their stories … making that connection when I’m selling a house. There’s always a story … people share a lot in a house,” he explains. “I love sharing those times that they experienced in that house. It’s more than just a transaction. It’s a life that you’re helping someone transition. That’s the biggest thing or me.”
Away from work, Corey feels blessed to share a remarkable bond with his wife, Randi.
“A long time ago, Randi served time herself. Her story is also about redemption. We connected immediately together on many levels. One of the biggest things we have in common is the fact that there is no quit in us,” Corey says with a smile.
“Real estate is very challenging and getting business takes effort. You have to go after it … just like I do in my relationship with my kids, my wife, and the Lord,” he emphasizes. “I give my clients everything and keep on keeping on.”
Corey and Randi treasure time with their children — 4-year-old daughter, Paige; and 2-year-old son, Palmer.
“We adopted both Paige and Palmer, and we have a huge place in our hearts for foster/ adopted families,” Corey says.
Away from work, Corey has a passion for hunting and cooking. But, family time is his favorite.
“I always leave my cell phone and work bag in the truck for at least an hour … so I can spend quality time with my family. We do devotionals with them. It’s more of a lifestyle,” he explains. “I work really hard to provide for my family and to give to the Lord. We lead small groups in church, as well.”
In addition, Corey and Randi have a heart for helping. They support Graffiti Ministries, as well as Great House Center. Another favorite is Sanctified Hope, a halfway house for women getting out of prison.
“Randi helped to start that group and is still on the Board of Directors there,” Corey says.
With a deep sense of gratitude, determination, and care for others, Corey continues to pour himself into the people he serves each day.
“I never thought I would have my own business and own my own rental properties,” he says. “I just showed up every day and am very determined. I’m super focused and never give up. It doesn’t mean I don’t fail … I fail all the time, but I don’t give up.”
Day-by-day, Corey Daniel is proof positive of the power that exists through belief.
I’M SUPER FOCUSED AND NEVER GIVE UP. IT DOESN’T MEAN I DON’T FAIL … I FAIL ALL THE TIME BUT I DON’T GIVE UP.
