RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE.
“That was a very hard deployment. But one of the best things about it was the fact that I had met so many soldiers from Texas. I grew up in Michigan. I found the people from Texas to be very patriotic and hardworking. I felt the need to be in Texas,” Julie says.
“I decided I was never going to scrape my windows again and went to Texas. In 2005, I moved to Texas. I had never been to Texas. I loaded up a U-Haul and drove to Fort Worth.”

Moving Forward
After Julie’s service was complete, she worked for the federal government. From there, she transitioned into working for a person running for state office.
After the campaign successfully completed, she moved on to enter the real estate business.
“I had flipped my own house. My husband would go on active duty, and I would renovate a property,” she says.
“I got my real estate license, and it has been smooth running ever since.”
Passion for the Profession
The passion Julie has for her profession is easy to spot.
“I love my clients. I get to meet new people, and they all have great stories and personalities. I love working with people and helping them communicate what they truly want in a home,” she says.
“I view real estate as project management. My favorite part is when my clients and I become friends. It means a lot when they send pictures of their home and they ask my opinion and send me updates on their lives and homes.”
Julie loves working with veterans. She and her husband also enthusiastically enjoy their lifetime membership in the VFW. Julie is also a big supporter of women’s shelters.
When it comes to her free time, she finds that much of her time is consumed by her passion for her work. She is also interested in woodworking.
Talking with Julie, her honesty and integrity are clearly central to the way she approaches life and business.
“I’m in this for the relationships I build with people,” Julie says.
That’s the spirit that allows Julie to serve success everyday.
