DAYS 4–6 I SVALBARD Svalbard lies north of the Arctic Circle, where the summer sun never sets. Here, in true expedition style, we let nature guide our course. Look for walruses, arctic foxes, reindeer, and polar bears from the bridge of our ship. Venture ashore to hike the tundra, sail into beautiful fjords, and kayak quiet coves surrounded by icebergs. Meals: 3B, 3L, 3D
DAYS 1–3 I U.S./OSLO, NORWAY/ LONGYEARBYEN After an overnight flight, enjoy a tour of Oslo. The next morning, fly to Longyearbyen, the largest settlement in Svalbard. DAYS 7–9 I BEAR ISLAND/SØRØYA ISLAND/ SENJA ISLAND Sail to isolated Bear Island. Explore the island’s coves and inlets by Zodiac, and train your binoculars on thousands of fulmars, kittiwakes, and murres that nest in the cliffs. Continue to the mountainous island of Sørøya off Norway’s northern coast, renowned for its large populations of migratory skrei, or cod. Next, we dock at Senja, characterized by dramatic mountains, colorful fishing villages, and a coastline split by fjords. Meals: 3B, 3L, 3D DAYS 10–11 I TROMSØ/OSLO/U.S. Disembark in Tromsø and explore this charming coastal city. Later, fly home via Oslo. SAS Radisson Blu Airport Hotel | Meals: 2B, 1L
