DAYS 10–11 I INNER AND OUTER HEBRIDES, SCOTLAND At Iona, venture into an ancient nunnery and a 13th-century abbey; then ride a Zodiac to the awe-inspiring Fingal’s Cave on Staffa Island. DAYS 12–16 I ORKNEY ISLANDS/SHETLAND ISLANDS/BERGEN, NORWAY/U.S. In the Orkney Islands, marvel at the megaliths of the Ring of Brodgar and the 5,000-year-old village of Skara Brae. Then step into St. Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall. In Shetland, discover the prehistoric settlement of Jarlshof and examine Bronze Age ruins and Viking longhouses.
