THE ULTIMATE EXPEDITION EXPERIENCE National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions are driven by a commitment to meaningful explorations—to discovering unknown frontiers and experiencing the spectacular diversity of our planet firsthand. Since 2004, we’ve shared that passion with travelers together, bringing you to fascinating corners of the globe with a top-notch expedition team, and tapping into a vast network of resources to create small-ship voyages that go beyond the expected. Nimble and equipped with state-of-the-art exploration tools, the expedition ships of the fleet allow these trips to be flexible and follow nature’s cues, getting a close-up look at wildlife, and taking advantage of spontaneous opportunities, whether you’re watching real-time underwater footage of humpbacks feeding in Alaska, or navigating around Ireland’s rugged and breathtakingly beautiful coastline. In the pages that follow, find new 2025 dates for voyages to compelling destinations throughout Africa, South and Central America, North America, the Polar Regions, and Europe. Each of these remarkable journeys is led by a dynamic team of naturalists, certified photo instructors, undersea specialists—and often a National Geographic Expert—who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to each trip.

EXPLORATION WITH A GREATER PURPOSE The National Geographic Global Explorers Program is available for young travelers on all voyages to Alaska, Galápagos, and Baja California, as well as our Journey to Antarctica. Developed with National Geographic Education, this hands-on, interactive program teaches kids and teens under 18 how to develop the attitudes, skills, and knowledge of an explorer, and offers all kinds of fun activities—like learning about glaciers by making ice cream sundaes, or developing observation skills by recording wildlife sightings and natural phenomena in a field notebook.

Certified field educators are trained to take advantage of the many learning opportunities that arise on a voyage aboard the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions fleet. Kids and teens will disconnect from tech and connect with nature, honing their observation skills and learning to capture and share their experiences through photographs, videos, maps, drawings, poetry, and more. With a range of activities and challenges to choose from in the field and on board, this flexible program encourages young travelers to bond with new friends and explore their own interests, whether it’s marine biology or photography.

The Visiting Scientists Program was created to enable active scientific research aboard the National GeographicLindblad Expeditions fleet. By joining these journeys, scientists are able to collect meaningful data in the Antarctic, Arctic, and other remote destinations we visit. In addition, Visiting Scientists share their research and discoveries with guests and, when possible, invite guests to participate in the scientific process.

EXPERTISE THAT ENRICHES AND INSPIRES When you travel aboard the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions fleet, you are surrounded by passionate experts who are there to share their knowledge with you. You might go snorkeling with an undersea specialist and gain an inside perspective on the marine world, or observe a brown bear alongside a naturalist who interprets its behavior for you in real time. You can turn to a National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions certified photo instructor for help with your equipment or tips on how to capture the perfect shot. Many voyages also feature a National Geographic Expert—a photographer, storyteller, or scientist—eager to share their expertise and insights.

TODD A . GIPSTEIN Photographer, Filmmaker, Writer

“Working on the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions as a photography expert has given me the opportunity to share a career in photography and media that has spanned almost 60 years—more than 37 with Nat Geo.” “I’ve loved my work as a photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller. I hope that I can impart my enthusiasm, offer some of what I have learned, and inspire those with whom I travel to explore the world as I have: with my mind, my eye, and my heart. I believe that travelers and photographers share the same desire to see new places, to experience new things. We embrace the wonder of nature, cultures, and the events of life. I share ways of immersing oneself in the moment, of not just looking at the world but really seeing it—with or without a camera in hand. I share what I have learned observing life.”

The ships of the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions fleet are designed to go where the action is, to maneuver into remote harbors and narrow channels that larger ships cannot reach. The fleet’s icebreakers are small ships of the highest ice class, allowing us to venture further into the pack ice of the polar regions, but also to navigate small ports in the Azores or the Coral Triangle. Each vessel is outfitted with a full range of tools for exploration that allow us to experience a destination with all five senses. Rather than gazing at a seabird colony from afar, you climb into Zodiacs or kayaks to get a closer look. You might discover the corals of a South Pacific lagoon by stand-up paddleboard, snorkel, or glass-bottomed boat, or listen into the sounds of a gray whale off Baja California using a hydrophone. Accommodating no more than 148 guests—and as few as 28—the ships offer an inviting home base after an exhilarating day of exploring. On board, comfort and service are paramount: cabins are spacious and well appointed, and spa services offer relaxation after a day of exploring. Dining venues serve regionally inspired cuisine with fresh, local ingredients. Expansive lounges host daily recaps, cultural performances, and engaging talks while offering intimate spaces to socialize, and an exceptional crew takes care of every detail. Turn to pages 76–77 to meet the fleet.

Clockwise from above: Travelers on the National Geographic Venture explore an Alaskan bay by paddleboard and kayak; an inviting lounge aboard the National Geographic Endurance offers a library and a view; the National Geographic Resolution "parks" in the pack ice in Antarctica; a spacious stateroom aboard the National Geographic Islander II features two large windows; a Zodiac unloads guests onto the National Geographic Quest; travelers have their pick of decks to take in the scenery.

Any airline tickets issued are subject to the carrier’s refund policy. Arriving late or leaving an Expedition in progress, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of an Expedition. National Geographic Expeditions reserves the right to cancel any Expedition because of inadequate enrollment that makes the Expedition economically infeasible to operate or because of good faith concerns with respect to the safety, health, or welfare of the participants. If an Expedition is canceled prior to departure, the Tour Operator will provide the participants with a full refund of monies paid to the Tour Operator; except in the event that the cancellation is due to a significant event that makes it infeasible to operate the Expedition as planned, in which case the Tour Operator will provide the participants with a refund and/ or credit toward a future Expedition equivalent to the amount paid to the Tour Operator. If National Geographic Expeditions or the Tour Operator cancels the Expedition in progress, the participants will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days not completed on the Expedition. If a participant elects to leave an Expedition in progress of their own volition, the participant will not receive any type of refund. If National Geographic Expeditions or the Tour Operator cancels the Expedition in progress and the participant elects not to immediately return to his/her original point of departure for the Expedition, or if the participant elects to leave an Expedition in progress of their own volition, the participant acknowledges and agrees that (i) the participant shall be solely responsible for his/her travel plans once he/she departs the Expedition, (ii) neither National Geographic Expeditions nor the Tour Operator shall have any responsibility for or control over the participant’s safety or activities once he/she departs the Expedition, and (iii) the participant releases and holds harmless the Released Parties and the Tour Operator, from any and all costs, liability, loss, damage, injury, or death that may arise out of the participant’s decision to not return to his/her original point of departure from the cancelled Expedition in progress. Except as outlined above when National Geographic Expeditions cancels an Expedition, the Released Parties and the Tour Operator have no responsibility for any expenses, including any nonrefundable expenses, incurred by the participants in preparing for a cancelled Expedition or for any additional arrangements should the participants embark prior to the scheduled group departure date. Optional Excursions: If a participant elects to participate in any additional activity or excursion that is not arranged or led by National Geographic Expeditions or the Tour Operator, neither the Released Parties nor the Tour Operator shall have any responsibility for or control over the participant’s safety or well-being, and the participant releases and holds harmless the Released Parties and the Tour

Operator from any and all costs, liability, loss, damage, injury, or death arising from the participant’s decision to participate in such activity or excursion. Non-U.S. residents please consult the appropriate consulates regarding passport, visa and other document requirements. Those without proper documentation may be denied travel. In addition, participants may be denied entry to the countries visited if they do not meet the country’s entry requirements. Failure to obtain documents does not negate the terms and conditions, and any extra costs incurred for rerouting due to travel without the necessary documents will be the participant’s responsibility. Health Requirements: National Geographic Expeditions reasonably accommodates travelers with disabilities on all of its trips, but not all trips may be suitable for all travelers. Any physical condition, diet, or treatment requiring special attention must be reported in writing when the reservation is made. Walking and climbing stairs are required in many hotels and airports to board an aircraft and for many excursions. If the participant requires a slower pace, extra assistance, or the use of a cane or walking stick, arrangements may be made for private touring at each destination, if necessary, at the discretion of our Expedition staff. Depending upon the nature of the arrangements, extra costs for such arrangements may be the responsibility of the participant. If the participant would like to forgo some of the scheduled sightseeing to rejuvenate and relax, he/she may feel free to do so at any time. Please call National Geographic Expeditions for further details if you require special accommodation to participate on this Expedition. National Geographic Expeditions encourages participants to consult a doctor for specific medical advice about any activities or destinations. Certain Expeditions require that each participant obtains his/her physician’s approval to join the Expedition, and in those cases, National Geographic Expeditions will send the participant a form for his/her physician to sign and return per instructions outlined in the preExpedition communications. Medical Authorization and Coverage: In the event the participant becomes sufficiently incapacitated as to be unable to direct his or her own care, there is no one on the Expedition who can direct participant’s care, and National Geographic Expeditions is unable or does not have time to contact participant’s emergency contact, the participant, by registering and paying a deposit for an Expedition, authorizes any medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of any injury or illness while participating in the activity including, but not limited to, X-ray, examination, anesthetic, medical or surgical diagnosis, or treatment and hospital care which is deemed advisable by, and is to be rendered under the general or specific supervision of, any physician and/or surgeon licensed in the United States, or, if in a foreign country and no physician licensed to practice in the United States is reasonably available, by a duly licensed physician deemed competent to render the necessary care. In addition, the participant certifies that they have medical insurance which will cover personal accidents, medical expenses, medical evacuation, air ambulance, loss of effects, repatriation costs and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring to the participant, or that in the absence of this medical insurance coverage, the participant agrees to pay all costs of rescue and/or medical services as may be incurred on the participant’s behalf. Photography: National Geographic Expeditions, the Tour Operator, and the Expedition leader reserve the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of any Expedition or part thereof and to use the resulting photography, videos, or recordings for promotional or commercial use. By making a reservation on an Expedition, the participant agrees to allow his/her likeness to be used by the Released Parties, the Released Parties-authorized third parties, and the Tour Operator without compensation to the participant. If the participant prefers that his/her likeness not be used, he/she must notify National Geographic Expeditions and/or the Tour Operator in writing prior to departure of the Expedition.
