DAYS 8–10 I PENÍNSULA VALDÉS/ PUERTO DESEADO/AT SEA Península Valdés is one of the world’s most important breeding grounds for southern right whales. Set out by local boat to search for whale calves and their mothers. Look for Commerson’s dolphins in the Reserva Natural Ría Deseado, and visit Puerto Deseado. Meals: 3B, 3L, 3D

DAYS 11–14 I FALKLAND ISLANDS/AT SEA Explore the Falklands’ windswept landscapes and spectacular wildlife—from thousands of penguins to black-browed albatrosses, elephant and fur seals, and sea lions. Meals: 4B, 4L, 4D
