Favorite Place to Drive: Give me a two lane highway through the middle of nowhere western United States and I’m a happy camper
Favorite activity to do when traveling: If there’s any close by, check out college campus’s athletic facilities. Notre Dame was really cool when I was in Elkhart one time.
Favorite activity to do when traveling: Either catch a glimpse of awesome scenery or learn about how that area fits into greater United States history
Favorite thing to listen to while driving: Pretty much anything depending on mood as well.
Favorite thing to listen to while driving: Depends on my mood; audio books, music, or sometimes just silence Favorite Travel Essential: Android Auto. If the rental car does not have Android Auto I’m not happy.
Favorite Travel Essential: Apple Car Play is a must have; fortunately it is available on most rentals now.
Favorite Travel Food: Beef jerky and trail mix are a must have. I tried to figure out the winner of the chicken sandwich war on my trip to North Carolina. Popeye’s has my vote. Favorite Place to Drive: Most interesting places I’ve driven so far are Oregon and eastern Tennessee. So much to see and so different from Kansas. Favorite activity to do when traveling: Visiting interesting restaurants and breweries that offer something different from the normal fare. Favorite thing to listen to while driving: Lately it’s been podcasts. If you find an interesting one, it makes the time go by faster. Favorite Travel Essential: Google Maps, not sure how we got around without it, and I’m old enough to have used my fair share of maps.
