wners Nick and Matthew started Backyard Cabins during the madness that was 2020. Being locked down due to Covid-19, they realised that making the most of the space available was more important than ever. They searched for a solution – something that was practical, looks great and was affordable – and backyard Cabins was born. Having enjoyed the cabin lifestyle themselves, they wanted to offer more people the opportunity to experience the flexibility and fun of having an additional multi-purpose space without having to make costly and disruptive changes to their home. Nick said: “With many people making the switch to working from home, we are all spending more time that ever in our gardens. Backyard Cabins offers simple, stylish and functional living spaces you can make your own. Whether it’s for work or play, the space can reflect your own personality.” The modular kits have been designed in-house and are handmade in the UK from sustainable sources. Using only the highest quality materials ensure the cabins will last a long time and they all come with a 10-year
warranty. You can choose from a collection of four exclusive designs or opt for a bespoke build. The environmentally conscious duo has also teamed up with the National Trust who will plant 10 trees for every cabin produced. Their company philosophy is ‘Design is everything’, and although it
is important that these spaces look good, they must also be user-friendly, offering flexibility for the spaces to work hard and be whatever you want them to be.
