South Molton’s Emma Sing has been called up for the England Red Roses squad, for the prestigious Six Nations tournament starting this month. All the matches will be shown on the BBC. Emma, who used to play for South Molton Rugby Club, has been selected alongside three of her teammates from the Gloucester-Hartpury WRFC (above). “My aim is to perform well in training to help the squad, and if that results in getting a cap then I’ll be extremely happy,” Emma told Molton Monthly. “I will also be happy if the team win the Grand Slam without me actually playing. It’s amazing learning from all of the other players who have so much more experience than me.” Emma scoring on her debut for the England under 20s side in spring 2019, just two days before her 18th birthday
