Special Olympian is digging for victory! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Lee Symons has had to put his dreams of swimming in the Special Olympics this year on hold, but that hasn’t stopped the 17 year old from South Molton aiming to help his town win gold. He has been volunteering along with his mum Elaine, with the South Molton in Bloom team, as they dig for victory in this year’s prestigious regional floral competition. “I’m looking forward to seeing South Molton looking really beautiful with all the flowers this summer,” said Lee. “I’m proud to be part of making it happen.” Work is getting underway across South Molton for the 2021 South West in Bloom competition.
