Unfortunately,thereconstructionprocessisnota“simple”one Itinvolves hiring various design and construction professionals, remediating soils, infrastructure removal, design, and major reconstruction. Additionally, the timingassociatedwiththerebuildoftenchangesduetoColorado’sweather elementsthatcouldtemporarilyhaltorpostponeconstruction.Besuretoread theApril2024newslettertolearnthehistoryandprogresssinceitsclosure.
May2024–After9months,wehavesecuredthecontractforCounsilmanHunsakerwhowillbethepooldesignengineer!Additionally,biweeklyproject meetingswiththecontractorsandtheExecutiveDirectorhavecommenced June2024–Wearefinalizingthecontractforthelandscapearchitectural engineeringservicesThisisthelastcontractneededandarehopefulitwillbe securedthismonth!
Atthepresenttime,thehopefultimeframeforcompletionisMay2026 We fullyunderstandhowdisappointingitistonothavethispoolinoperationfor years.
