Each year from late May through fall, the Covenants Team conducts comprehensiveinspectionstoenforceourcovenants,protectpropertyvalues,and keepTheMeadowslookingitsbest.Everyhomeisreviewed butthegoodnewsis, mostconcernscanberesolvedbeforeweevenreachyourneighborhood!

Commonitemstoaddressinclude:

Exterior Cleaning: Remove mold, dirt, or discoloration from siding, gutters, decks,foundations,garagedoors,andfences.

Trim and Paint: Inspect wood trim, shutters, garage trim, and radon pipes. Whenit’swarm,plantoaddressareasshowingsignsofrotorpaintfadedspots.

Repairs:Fixbrokensiding,windows,grids,shutters,roofs,andgaragedoors.

Landscaping and Storage: Prune overgrowth, rake leaves, remove weeds, trim treesandbushes,andstorebinsandoutdooritemsneatlyoutofview.

Visibility and Approvals: Ensure house numbers are visible from the street. RemembertoobtainARCapprovalbeforemakinganyexteriormodifications.

I’vebeenvolunteeringwiththeArchitecturalReviewCommittee(ARC)fornearly sixyearsandcurrentlyserveasVicePresident.Ienjoyconnectingwithneighbors, offeringguidance,andbeingaresourceforthosewhomayfeelunsureabout homeownershipinTheMeadows Iespeciallyappreciatethechancetomeet peopleface-to-faceandbuildrelationshipsthroughoutthecommunity

Duringmyterm,Istriveforexcellencebyworkingcloselywiththecommitteeand residentstobetterunderstandandupholdHOAguidelines It’sacollaborative effortthattakestime,butourgoalistoensureneighborhoodsmaintainconsistent standards.Ultimately,Ihopetocontinueadvocatingforafriendly,welcoming,and beautifulcommunitywecanallbeproudof.
