VOTEFORYOURDISTRICTDELEGATE

In January, we commenced the annual District Delegate Election. After we compiled our slate of nominees, you should have received voting instructions by U.S. Mail and e-mail (if we had it on record) fromSurvey and Ballot Systems. Now thattheelectionisunderway, pleasevoteforyourDistrictDelegatewhowillserve therespectiveneighborhoodsfromMarch2025throughMarch2026!

Thereisaquorumrequiredforthiselection(10%ofthevotesinyourDistrict)andit is imperative that we have your participation. Without a quorum, we will have to repeat this mailing and reconvene, doubling the cost to our Association (another $11,000)! To incentivize participation, all proxies received online or in-person by February 8th will be entered into a random drawing for a $25 gift card with one winnerperDistrict!

Question: Do I need to vote if there is only one Delegate candidate for my District's Election?

Answer:YES!Districts1,4,5,7,and8onlyhaveonecandidate,butyoustillneedto vote to achieve quorum. If we do not receive the required number of votes per District, thenwemustrepeattheelectionprocessfortheparticularDistrict.

The Latest & Essential Information TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICE TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICE

Communication: Get in the habit of checking your inbox or MNC’s Facebook for confirmed service delays for holidays, inclement weather, truck breakdowns, etc. You can also check Waste Management’s (WM) website to confirm service in case MNC hasn't communicated a delay by the morning of service.

Holidays observed by WM include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.

Prepare: Avoid being missed by ensuring bins are out on time (7am – 7pm), fully closed with no overflow, and leave at least 4 ft. of space beside your bins. Cardboard must be empty, flattened, and placed inside or beside the bin.

Starting July 1, 2025, no recycling may be left outside of your bins

Report: Missed pick ups may be reported the next day to Juli Asbridge at jasbridge@meadowslink.com. WM will always try to service missed bins within 48hours, weather and safety permitting.

Purchase or Swap Bins: You are entitled to two 96-gallon trash bins and two 96gallon recycle bins Residents may switch from 96-gallon to 64-gallon, or 64gallon to 96-gallon, however a $25 swap fee will apply. Regardless of bin size, additional bins cost $5/bin/month. If your bins are too large for your needs or wish to purchase more, please direct your inquiry to Juli via email

Remember: Recycling occurs on the GREEN Mondays - click the calendar to save.

QUARTERLY ASSESSMENTS QUARTERLY ASSESSMENTS

Pay On-Time & Never Waste a Dime

Residents should consider paying quarterly HOA assessments through the website payment portal, ACH through MSI, or a personal bank for these top three reasons:

1. On-Time Payments: By setting your dues to a recurring payment on the website or setting up ACH through MSI or personal bank, you eliminate the pressures of remembering what, when, and how much The added benefit of signing up for ACH through MSI or a personal bank is that the amount owed will be updated automatically once the next fiscal year budget gets approved. Never worry about paying late or failing to pay the full amount ever again!

2. Saves Money, Time, & Stress: Do you live out of state? Forget buying checks, envelopes, and stamps to mail your payment. Have a busy schedule? Goodbye trips to the facility drop boxes! Did you have a check go missing and was told you never paid? Never again! Are you concerned about identity theft? Online payments are secure and verifiable.

3. Green Initiatives: Every household who has not signed up for online payments receives a coupon book once the annual operating budget is approved in May. New homeowners or resale units also receive a coupon book at the time of settlement

Every coupon book costs $4.50 to be printed by the vendor. It costs $0.69 cents to mail every book on top of the costs for envelopes and paper. The annual cost for coupon books is now $16,000! In conjunction with current residents who pay by check, one can imagine how much this number increases as our community grows By reducing the number of coupon books needed, we reduce our impact on the environment and additional costs to the Association together!

There are so many other benefits, and we encourage you to give automatic payments a try in preparation for the next quarterly assessments due by April 1st! For frequently asked questions about assessments, additional ways to pay, and current rates per quarter, go to our website (owner login required)

Thank you for helping the Association cut costs and go green!

Balances must be updated by you. Cards have a 3 5% fee that FSPay keeps

How to: Login to the website and locate the instructional payment guide on the HOA Assessments webpage

Questions? FSPay, 1-800-690-0984 or residentpayments@frontsteps.com. Refer to FAQs for more helpful information

Balances will be automatically updated when assessments change.

How to: Complete a 1-page form at either HOA office and provide a voided check. That’s it!

Questions? Jena Haskett, 720-974-4190 or jhaskett@msihoa.com.
