Debbie & Bob Reardon ‘82 Throughout their lives, Bob and Debbie Reardon have emphasized the importance of a Catholic education to their children. “We wanted to encourage our children to walk in the path of kindness, compassion, hard work, and care of others. For us, that’s the foundation of family life,” said Bob. “I knew that the values I had received as a young man at Malden Catholic developed those qualities in me, as well as a strong Catholic worldview, and nothing pleased us more than to have our children benefit from a similarly rich Catholic ethos.”

Catholic education is a well-woven tradition in the Reardon family fabric. As faithful parishioners at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Medford, they attended the parish school. Bob’s own mother, Kathleen Cafferty Reardon, was a Girls Catholic alumna from the Class of 1958. Kathleen, in turn, made sure that her children would enjoy the benefits of the Girls Catholic and Malden Catholic experience by enrolling her three children. Bob graduated in 1982 from Malden Catholic, followed by his brother, Patrick, in 1984. His sister, Noreen, graduated from Girls Catholic in 1986.
