Class Notes

Generous individuals like you continue to improve the opportunities offered to Malden Catholic students who will lead us all into the future. Your gift makes an immediate impact by providing challenging academic programming, financial aid and co-curricular opportunities and experiences for the entire student body.

MAKE A RECURRING OR ONE-TIME GIFT WITH A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD

You can choose the amount and frequency of your support for Malden Catholic by visiting our secure website, www.maldencatholic.org/give/annual-giving. If you need assistance, please contact Sarah P. Hamilton, Director of Advancement Operations at hamiltons@maldencatholic. org or by calling 781.475.5331.

SEND A CHECK

Please make your check payable to Malden Catholic and send it to:

Advancement Office Malden Catholic 99 Crystal Street Malden, MA 02148

MAKE A GIFT OF SECURITIES OR REAL ESTATE

By making a gift of securities or real estate you benefit two ways: first, by receiving a charitable income tax donation, and second, by avoiding capital gains taxes that would otherwise be due on the appreciated property. For stock transfer instructions, please contact Sean Hurley, CFO, at 781.475.5345.

CONSIDER PLANNED GIVING

Planned gifts allow you to provide for Malden Catholic while realizing your own financial and estate planning goals. Many planned giving methods benefit the donor, as well as the school, by reducing or eliminating income, gift, and estate taxes. For more information on Planned Giving, please contact Robert McCarthy, Sr., Director of Institutional Giving at 781.475.5333 or mccarthyr@maldencatholic.org.

GIFTS IN-KIND

Non-cash gifts of property such as computers, books, scientific equipment, and art materials are also valued gifts. The fair market value of such items is deductible for income tax purposes. A formal appraisal is required by the IRS for gifts in kind valued over $5,000.

MEMORIAL GIFTS

A gift in honor or memory of someone you love and admire can be a meaningful way to contribute to Malden Catholic. We have spiritual memorial cards available upon request by calling Leslie Manson-Hing at 781.475.5293.
