Travel Planning Tips
Lost Creek Ranch offers complimentary guest shuttles to and from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) and Jackson town square on arrival and departure day Sundays (arrival) – shuttles run from 12pm – 9pm Please note, our check-in is 2pm and only a dinner service is provided that day In route to the ranch, our drivers are happy to assist with a pit-stop to Dornan’s market & wine shop https://dornans.com/dining/wine-shop-market-deli/ Saturday (departure) – shuttles run from 5am – 11am
Our ranch shuttles are grey Mercedes Sprinter vans marked with the LCR brand and a driver will be waiting outside with signage.
Guests receive email outreach confirming flight times and numbers 1 week prior to the trip Our friendly Concierge team is available throughout the travel day to assist with any changes that may arise
Driving to the ranch? We have parking near each guest cabin Look for the Lost Creek Ranch sign off the highway and across from the Snake River Overlook The ranch road is a 25-mile-long gravel road, please drive slowly and you’ll soon see the overhead entrance and horse barn Follow the signage to the office and our team will assist you with check-in and direct you to parking near your cabin.
Gauging your transportation needs:
If you and your family would like to drive, dine, or sightsee offsite, we encourage you to rent a car Our permits to operate in the National Park do not allow guided tours in Yellowstone or Whitewater rafting and these are the most popular activities that guests incorporate in their weekly agenda If you would like to do either of these activities, we recommend a car rental and scheduling the activities mid-week (Tue, Wed or Thur) Alternatively, you could book a guided tour through https://buffaloroamtourscom/
Lost Creek also provides transportation to all the included guest activities on each weekly agenda such as the twice daily Snake River float trips, fishing trips, the Jackson Hole rodeo on Wednesday nights and day trips to town or Jenny Lake (weather dependent).

A Love Message from the West
In the heart of nature's wide expanse, Where mountains rise and rivers dance,
There lies a haven, a special chance, A place called home, the Lost Creek Guest Ranch
Beneath the sky, so vast and blue, Guests arrive, a joyful crew, Horses neigh and breezes strew, Adventure whispers, old and new.
Cabins nestled, snug and warm, A rustic charm, a tranquil form, Families gather, hearts transform, In this haven, where memories swarm
Saddle up, on trails untamed, Through meadows green, where dreams are named, Cowboy hats and friendships framed, At the guest ranch, where joy's proclaimed
So let us roam, where our hearts find home,
Where every guest is not alone, In this retreat, dreams are sown
Happy Valentines from LCR XO
For over a century, Wyoming has played a pivotal role in shaping America’s conservation legacy President Theodore Roosevelt, often called the “Conservation President,” found inspiration in the rugged landscapes of the West, leading to the protection of millions of acres of public land, including our beloved national parks His time in Wyoming reinforced the importance of preserving these wild places for future generations an effort that continues today
Roosevelt arrived in Yellowstone on April 8, 1903, just 30 years after President Ulysses S Grant had established the region as America’s first national park During the President’s two-week tour of the park, he paid a visit to Fort Yellowstone at Mammoth Hot Springs and the Upper Geyser Basin He camped near the Black Canyon of the Yellowstone River and completed an 18-mile hike after observing elk for the day.
As recent reports highlight staffing changes in the Park and Forest Services and their potential impact on travelers, our commitment to personalized service and curated adventures ensures a seamless way to explore the region With expert guides, you'll experience safe and enjoyable outdoor recreation in Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest, while our gourmet dining and authentic Western hospitality make every moment unforgettable Immerse yourself in the same untamed beauty that once captivated Roosevelt wild, free, and truly spectacular
