2024 was a landmark year as Lost Creek Ranch transitioned to new ownership This shift ushered in a wave of fresh energy, reinvigorating our dedication to upholding the tradition of historic guest ranching while incorporating modern comforts to enjoy the magic of the West The new ranch owners are committed to preserving the ranch’s rich heritage while introducing thoughtful updates that enhance our guest offerings.
We look forward to carrying many of these unique opportunities into the new year and encourage you to checkout our specialty weeks In the meantime, I’d love to share some of my favorite memories from the 2024 season

In a nod to our historic roots, we revived an old pack trip permit that allowed guests to embark on adventures into the backcountry. This addition brought a wave of excitement as guests saddled up for multi-day excursions, reconnecting with the spirit of the Old West while exploring the pristine Gros Ventre wilderness For adventure seekers who don’t mind a soft-sided shelter for a night or two after long days in the saddle, we highly recommend booking a pack trip onto your stay at Lost Creek this summer

Our commitment to quality fare continued, as we introduced KOW steaks, known for their rich flavor and exceptional quality This addition elevated our dining offerings and paired perfectly with evenings filled with live music We were thrilled to host a variety of talented musicians, with a standout performance from rising star Peytan Porter, whose soulful voice captured the hearts of everyone in attendance

As winter begins to seep into Wyoming, the landscape around Lost Creek transforms into a serene tapestry The once-vibrant greens and golds of the aspen trees shift to soft, silvery branches as the chill settles in and the last leaves fall This season marks a gentle slowing down, as the ranch transitions from the lively hustle of summer and autumn to the quiet stillness of winter
Though our gates are closed during these colder months, the ranch takes on a peaceful rhythm Snow blankets the historic cabins and wedding pasture, and the distant peaks of the Grand Tetons are crowned with a pristine, wintry glow It’s a time of rest and renewal, both for the land and for us, as we prepare for the upcoming season and all the joy it will bring
We hope that, wherever you are, the changing season invites moments of reflection and warmth.
