Online learning can be stressful and such stress can be unwanted and not needed. Finding methods or ways to relieve such stress is crucial to your physical, mental and academic health. Here are some tips from some of your fellow students on how to deal with stress.
3. Soobin Jeon (10) recommends taking time aside from academics and studies to relieve some stress. Jeon has developed a method of balance between school and relaxing by taking breaks in between assignments. Reading, drawing and listening to music are all ways too ease tensions. ------------------------------------4. Sophia Ciaramello (12) recommends Exercising. Ciaramello has been working out at the gym as a way of relaxing and getting her mind of things. Other activities like jogging, yoga, and taking a walk can also help get one’s mind get off of things.
1. Emilio Puentes (11) recommends music. Listening to music has helped Puentes focus on homework while relaxing when needed. Listening to music helps time fly and eases your mind. For those who have instruments, picking up the instrument is also a good stress reliever. ------------------------------------2. According to the Mayo Clinic, talking to friends and family can really help lift one’s spirits and relieve stress. Even a simple text or video call is enough to ease tension.
