Kalee Cautivar
Kalee Cautivar (10) recently redecorated her room this past summer. She wasn’t too fond of what her room looked like before, so she wanted to switch things up a bit. She wanted her room to have a clean, simple, and cozy style, so she painted her walls lavender and rearranged her bed, desk, and other possessions. She says that she wanted to feel refreshed when she walked into her room. She also wanted her room to be welcoming. Her favorite thing in her room is the stuffed animal that her brother bought her from Korea.
Haley Dugaduga (11) renovated her room by herself at the beginning of quarantine. She wanted her room to be comfortable and make her happy. She also wanted to give off a minimalist feeling, but not too simple. She put many cute lights and figures on her shelves as well. It is a very Japanese inspired room. Her favorite thing about her room is the color schemes. She tried her best to buy things that stayed true to her theme. Her favorite item in her room is her LED cherry blossom tree that she uses as a night light.
Lynnae Garnet
Lynnae Garnet (11) says she paints her room sporadically. She said, “I think of cool ideas and just have at it on the first blank wall I can find!” The look she is going for is “Cartoon Chaos.” She wanted her room to be painted in a way that when you look at it, you have to take a few minutes to analyze everything that’s going on around you. Her favorite thing in her room is her computer. 16
