(Castellano) Este libro de “Girona, Temps de Flors” es el quinto ejemplar de un proyecto de libros coleccionables con los que se pretende recoger, cada año, en bellas imágenes el resultado anual de la exposición “Girona, Temps de flors” que se celebra cada primavera en la ciudad. La edición del presente año, la 62ª exposición de flores, monumentos patios y jardines, se resume en este libro con una selección representativa de los montajes florales que decoran los diferentes espacios, especialmente en el casco antiguo de Girona. Este libro quiere ser una muestra física y perenne que inmortalice la belleza de este festival en cada edición. El libro “Girona, Temps de Flors”, quiere también transmitir, junto a cada fotografía, que cada decoración floral tiene un trasfondo, un sentido fruto de una inspiración y un concepto… Porque en cada uno de los montajes convive una historia y unas personas; este libro quiere ser también, un reconocimiento a todos aquellos, aparezcan o no en este libro, que con su aportación y creatividad hacen posible el “Temps de Flors”.
(English) This book of “Girona, Temps de Flors” is the fifth in a project of collector’s books containing beautiful images which, hopefully, year after year, will record the annual result of the exhibition “Girona Temps de Flors”, celebrated each spring in the city. This year ‘s festival, the 62nd in the history of this exhibition of flowers, monuments, courtyards and gardens, is summed up in this book which offers an illustrative selection of the flower displays that adorn the different spaces of Girona; especially its old city. The book is a physical and everlasting celebration of the festival’s beauty year in year out . We hope that the book “Girona Temps de Flors” will convey, with each photograph, the background of each flower display, the meaning behind it, born from inspiration and an idea... for each of them also has a story and people behind it. We hope too that the book will pay tribute to all those people, whether they appear in this book or not, whose contribution and creativity make “Temps de Flors” possible.
