Outpatient CLINIC NEWS
The Support Our Patients Need
In outpatient behavioral health, our approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and the belief in every individual's capacity to heal. As a united team, we strive to create an environment that fosters growth, a safe harbor for individuals navigating the turbulent
waters of mental health. CBHR's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) team has seen their fair share of patient ups and downs. They wanted to share a story of a patient who arrived to them, after several attempts to navigate the oftentimes complicated mental health system:

Outpatient BH Clinic Employee of the Month - Jane Rodriguez
“After several attempts to complete the program, a patient who has suffered through the many ups and downs that accompany mental illness came to CBHR PHP ready to take the next steps. As providers, we were well aware of the history of this patient’s experience both with mental health and the mental health system As a team, we strive to build rapport and provide a welcoming, safe environment to foster the growth of all our patients and this patient was no exception Each and every day, she showed up and put in the work and each day, our team noticed the work she was putting in. Throughout the course of her treatment, she blossomed and became more open to participation with us as well as other members of the group She was able to effectively utilize the coping skills we had practiced and successfully completed all 10 days of programming ”
This patient story serves as a beacon of hope, not only for those grappling with mental health issues but for everyone who values the importance of accessible, compassionate behavioral health services. It reminds us with the right care and support, individuals can overcome the darkest of challenges and emerge on the other side stronger, resilient, and ready to embrace life
Jane is the Clinic RN for Northeast BH She is new to the Outpatient BH team and began as the RN at NEBH just 2 months ago on July 10th She has done an amazing job adapting to her new role Her team shared that she has taken over her role seamlessly in the clinic and has helped to make clinic flow even smoother She has also already completed a clinic tracer and did an amazing job. Despite being new to her role she showed exemplary ownership of the Clinic RN role and all facets of her workflow. We are so pleased to have you on the OP BH Team. Your dedication and hard work are valued by your team and the patients you serve!

Celebrating EVS Week
We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our Environmental Services (EVS) team, during this past EVS Week. Their commitment to maintaining a clean
and safe environment for all of us is truly commendable, and we are grateful for their efforts. Throughout the year the EVS team goes above and beyond to ensure that our workspace remains clean and hygienic. Their attention to detail and tireless dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are fortunate to have them as part of our JPS family.
While we celebrate the success of EVS Week, we also want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining cleanliness in our common areas. It is crucial that we all do our part to keep our workplace a pleasant and sanitary environment for everyone. Here are a few reminders:
Clean Up After Yourself: Please remember to clean up after yourselves in common areas such as the break room and classroom. Dispose of trash in the designated bins and ensure that tables and countertops are wiped down after use.
Microwave and Bathroom Spills: If you accidentally spill something in the microwave or bathroom, please take a moment to clean it up promptly. This helps prevent accidents and keeps these areas clean for all employees.
Shared Refrigerators: To maintain a clean and organized refrigerator space, please remove your items from the shared refrigerators before 4:30 pm on Fridays. Any items left behind may be discarded to prevent the growth of bugs and mold, ensuring a healthier workplace for all.
By following these simple guidelines, we can collectively contribute to a more pleasant and efficient work environment. Let's continue to show our appreciation for the EVS team's hard work by being responsible and considerate team members.
Once again, a big thank you to the entire EVS team for their exceptional efforts. Let's work together to keep our clinics clean and inviting for everyone.
