Hall of State Opening Sponsored by: The Sewell Family, Scottish Rite for Children, H-E-B/Central Market, Dee Torbert For the first time in our 100-year history, the League hosted an interactive exhibit of our history and impact on Dallas at the Hall of State in Fair Park during the State Fair of Texas’ 24-day run. The interactive exhibit showcased JLD’s 100 years of “Legacy of Leadership, Devotion to Dallas” and the women who made so much happen, including our Grants for Innovative Teaching and Kids in the Kitchen Signature Projects, Linz award recipients and much more. Through historical documents, memorabilia and photos, the exhibit shared information from the earliest days of the League to the present.
