Microgen UK Limited, inform ation storage and retrieval specialists are now able to dem onstrate how fiche-held information, formerly ‘dorm ant’, can now be reactivated and edited using a new digital scanner. Inform ation on fiche can be made available w ithin an electronic envi ronm ent and netw orked across stan d ard PCs,or faxed direct,w ithout affecting th e original fiche, using the M icroimage Digital Scanner 300 (DS300).
Houston Fearless has expanded its family of Extek film duplicators w ith the introduction of Model 5492-SVHS (Super Very High Speed), a state-of-the-art diazo dupli cator th a t ru n s in excess of 240 fpm. In addition to offering all custom ers th e benefits of the proven Extek 54402 duplicator, the new 5492-SVHS has been made more rugged for high production and high reliability.
The DS300 scans images from both fiche and 16mm roll film into a PC where inform ation can be refined on screen before being tran sm itted to laser printer, fax machine or electronic network.
