Using different colours enables the identity of th e user to be known a t a glance. As the "Out Signals" are 10mm higher th a n the aperture cards and circular, th is ensures th a t they are readily visible. Available ex-stock in red, blue and orange (in units of 100) they can also be supplied in any colour to special order. The TD 1 is another transm ission densitom eter. The changeable apertures are placed in a lit area and have diam eters of 0.5m m/lm m/2m m/3mm respectively.
