Designed to satisfy the dem and for a low cost document im aging scanner for the sm all work group environm ent, th e S canP artner 10 w ith a throughput of ten A4 pages per m inute, provides a perfect desktop solution for those applications which require scans of up to 500 documents per day. The addition of the colour kit m eans th a t users can now scan full 24 bit colour images, in three page mode. The flat-bed scanner comes w ith an industry-standard SCSI-II interface which m akes it widely compatible with w orkstations, high-end PCs, optical storage system s and other office peripherals, th u s elim inating the need for an expensive proprietary controller board. Supplied as standard, th e 50-page autom atic document feeder on the scanner accepts A4, letter and legal size documents,which together w ith its 10-page/min scan capability enables it to handle large volumes of docu m ents w ith m inim al operator intervention. W ith resolu tion set a t 200 dpi, the S canP artner 10 scans an A4 doc um ent in 5.2secs.

Image quality is heightened by the u se r’s ability to select resolutions from 100 to 300 dpi (in one percent steps) and the scanner being able to recognise 256 levels of grey scale, in addition to its colour capability. The S canPartner 10 m easures a compact 160 x 560 x 345mm and weighs a lightw eight 13.65kg. It is available as a stand-alone unit, or bundled w ith a num ber of optional document im aging software packages.
