My Extraordinary Life BY: TILLIE PORTER “If it wasn’t for the struggle, I wouldn’t have the strength”, Not your average businesswoman! The struggle is REAL, and always has been, let’s start there! From being addicted to Xanax, to making over 1,000 dollars in a night of floor dancing for the City’s Bottom and Elite men, from selling guns in an alley, to watching my padre get murdered in front of me and surviving a gunshot wound myself just to name a few. All these things were part of my humble beginnings.

In 2007 after surviving the unthinkable and escaping the treacherous streets of North Omaha, God granted me a fresh start.

Indeed, his mercy endureth forever. He snatched me out of the streets, placed me in a place of Solitude, where I could think clearly. That day on I vowed to never go back to the street life ever again.

I chose peace. Becoming a Hermit if you will. The voice of the Lord kept telling me to write. My story needed to be heard. Ignoring his voice for years didn’t get me anywhere, my life was still and stagnant.
