The tuition fee for the 2022-2023 school year was $30,975. The HTS tuition includes the lunch program for all students. Tuition can be paid in one or multiple installments. The 2023-2024 fees will be published in January 2023 and available at hts.on.ca/tuition. It is important for our families to anticipate basic tuition increases of approximately 4% on an annual basis as this allows our school to operate as a leading educational institution.
When paying your tuition, a voluntary Annual Fund donation is included in the first payment. Annual Fund donations are the gift our families provide to support our leading-edge programs and initiatives so that we continue to be leaders in education for our students.

Financial Assistance
HTS is pleased to provide bursary assistance to eligible families that have been enrolled at the school for at least one full year. To determine eligibility, applications must be submitted online to Apple Financial Services at applefinancialservices.ca no later than December 15, 2022. Apple Financial Services will complete a financial assessment and provide a recommendation to the HTS Financial Aid Committee for consideration. Bursaries are intended to be for short-term assistance and are available for up to 50 per cent of tuition costs. For more information about our bursaries and scholarships, please visit hts.on.ca/bursariesandscholarships or contact the Admissions Office.
Annual Fund Donation
HTS is an independent, not-for-profit, school that provides an educational experience that is nothing short of exceptional. The Annual Fund supports initiatives that enhance and enrich school life above what is covered by tuition as well as student financial aid. Families are encouraged to donate a minimum of $1,500 per child, annually. These donations allow for upgrades to our resources and tools in the classroom, enhanced facilities and specialized programming. An official donation receipt will be issued for the full amount of your Annual Fund donation.
There are two designations to choose from when you donate:
Head’s Discretionary Fund
Funds support the strategic vision of HTS. Chosen by the Head of School, these funds go toward areas in the school that require enhancements to match our innovative programming. This could include outfitting our classrooms with new equipment, providing funds for a new initiative or directed to our new spaces. The Head’s Discretionary Fund provides the option to elevate learning experiences for our students throughout the year.
Student Financial Aid
HTS provides an outstanding academic environment, establishes a foundation of values, a sense of community and instills purpose in our students. We believe that the purpose of education is to prepare students for life and that every child should be given a chance to experience HTS, irrespective of the household financial ability. For this reason, donors to the Annual Fund can designate their gift to Student Financial Aid.
