Interdisciplinary Learning
Students have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary projects – learning that is integrated with different concepts, tools and techniques from a variety of disciplines.
Giving Back To The Greater Community
Throughout the year, our Lower School students have the opportunity to contribute to their local community, through activities such as participating in environmental cleanup days or volunteering at a community lunch program.
Leadership Opportunities
There are many opportunities for leadership development in the Lower School, including reading buddies, House Captains and the Lower School Prefects, where students serve as role models to their peers in all aspects of school life including: recess, hallways, classroom, co-curricular activities, etc. The Lower School Prefects are also committed to helping students become a part of the school community.
Sports Teams
The competitive-level sports teams in the Lower School beginning in Grade 4:

AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
• Track and field
• Volleyball
We have an incredible range of after-school activities for our Lower School students that include a mix of outdoor and indoor activities that will help all students experience new opportunities outside of their regular academic day. These activities include, but are not limited to, trail walks, arts and crafts, coding, tennis, outdoor play, yoga and dance.
