Summit Hill Elementary Employee of the Month Hi, my name is Karla Hernandez and I am 29 years old. I have two daughters, my oldest is 7 years old and my youngest is 4 years old. I am a Howe graduate and have lived in Howe since 2006. This year is my second year working at Summit Hill Elementary as a Special Education Aide and I love it. My previous job was at, what was known as, The School Zone Academy (Koti Academy) in Howe. I worked there for almost 8 years, and will continue to help there during Summer breaks as long as I can. I love that I have had the chance to see kiddos who I cared for at the daycare center at Summit Hill. I love working with children, and I hope to do so as a future professional career.
