Kathie Lynn Fenton October 24, 1954 - May 14, 2022
Kathie worked for Johnson and Johnson after graduating from Howe High School and enjoyed her work there for many years. In July of 1986, While married to David, Kathie welcomed her daughter Jennifer. Several years later she graduated from Business school and worked for Aramark food services. This led her to transfer and start a new adventure in Louisiana. There, she helped manage the cafeteria at Dow Chemical in Plaquemine, LA. Kathie and Jennifer made several friends there and had many memories traveling with the school band. Together, Kathie and Jennifer lived in both Howe, TX and Brusly, LA before moving to Muenster, TX. In 2001, Kathie met up with an old flame, the true love of her life, Joseph Fenton. The couple first met and dated in 1981. Kathie instantly fell in love with Joe's children, Hayle and Joey. They have many wonderful memories of time spent together going roller skating, learning to curl hair, and going to the infamous Easter celebration at Aunt Eva's house. While it wasn't their time yet, it was coming. After reuniting, the couple wasted no time getting to know each other and fell in love all over again. They were married on June 29,2002. He preceded her in death in March of 2022. Together, Joe and Kathie loved to travel, eat good food, and spend time with Family. They enjoyed keeping up with their friends in Howe, TX and made new friends with the Marine Raiders Association. They enjoyed spending time at the Lake with Marvin and Sherry, watching their grandsons in horse shows, and spoiling Emily Cate and Abigail as often as possible. Jimmy Owen Watson September 6, 1950 - May 18, 2022 Whitney, TX- Graveside funeral services for James Owen Watson will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 21 at Hall Cemetery with Harold Finney officiating. Mr. Watson, 71, passed away Wednesday, May 18 in Whitney. Jimmy was born September 6, 1950 in Sherman to the late Owen and Mammie (Hedrick) Watson. He worked as a welder and enjoyed spending time on the lake.
Kathie Lynn Cate Fenton was born Sunday, October 24th, 1954 in Denton, Texas to Martha Ellen (Cloninger) Cate and R.L. Cate. She went to be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the age of 68. Kathie grew up in Howe, Texas where she was a member of Howe First Baptist Church. In her youth, she loved singing and cooking and was active in her church youth group and 4-H. Kathie was a member of a singing group at church and loved going to youth camp in Glorietta, New Mexico. She had many fond memories of growing up with her brother and cousins. She would often talk about time spent at her Aunts and Uncles homes and the shenanigans that would occur at the deer lease.

Mr. Watson is survived by his son, Shane Watson and wife Ashley; four grandchildren, Kaylee Phillips, Hanna Abel, Ian Watson, and Kole Watson; one sister, Shirley Vickers; and nieces and nephews. Kathie Fenton
A memorial service will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM at The Endzone in Whitney, Texas on May 26.

She could often be found sitting right next to Joe, wherever life took them, crocheting a gift for a loved one. She lovingly made blankets for all the new babies and the majority of her family. Several times, while in the hospital, she would be working on gifts for others. Once, while working on a six foot blanket for her son-in-law, she used what she had completed as a cover to keep her warm. Kathie found joy in buying the perfect gift for each of her loved ones. She enjoyed spoiling people with surprise gifts and took delight in the happiness it brought. Mrs. Fenton was also preceded in death by her parents, Siblings, Martha Jean Cate, Marvin and Sherry Cate and son Joseph Fenton Jr. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Bayer and husband Eric of Iraan, TX, Hayle Dangelmayr and husband Tom of Muenster, TX, grandchildren, Eli Dangelmayr and Fiance Gillean Nixon, Cody Dangelmayr and wife Emily, Kyle Dangelmayr, Kevin Dangelmayr, Emily Cate Bayer, Abigail Marie Bayer and great granddaughter Adelynn Dangelmayr along with several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Kathie loved the Lord and had experienced the love, joy, peace, forgiveness, and eternal salvation that only Jesus Christ can offer. She wished for everyone to experience his grace by accepting the free gift of salvation that Christ offers to all. The family received friends on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Howe, Texas. Burial followed at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Muenster, Texas.
