Sworn in for another term was Michael Doty and Tamela Shadden. Jeff Dailey, who defeated Nick Upton for Akins’ unexpired seat was sworn in and took the seat immediately following.

Board members Shadden and Janie Finney switched seats from secretary and vice president as Shadden was selected vice president and Finney was selected as secretary. Clint Catching was again selected to serve as president of the board.

FUMC hosting blood drive

On June 5, 2022, a ‘Spread the Love Community Blood Drive’ will take place at First United Methodist Church in Howe from 11 am to 2 pm. The Texoma Regional Blood Center mobile unit will be in the First United Methodist Church parking lot at 810 N. Denny Street.

You can reserve a time to give blood and help save lives. A light lunch and a lunch cooler is provided for donors. Email fumcwomenhowe@yahoo.com for more information.
