The Howe 3rd and 4th grade Bulldogs. Courtesy photo. Submitted— The third and fourth grade Howe Bulldogs squared off against the Whitewright Tigers on Saturday and won, 34-0. The Bulldogs offense started fast with Easton Ganow scoring on a long touchdown. Jaxon Windon and Sean Douglas followed that up later with touchdowns of their own. The final offensive touchdown was a 55-yard pass from quarterback Eli Espita to receiver Elijah Willoughby. The offensive line provided great protection on that pass and got stronger as the game went on. The line was led by Weldon Oswalt, Colton Bender, Adrian Silva, and Brodie Sellers among others. sions in the game were scored by Captain Hambrick and Noah Espita. Later in the game the Bulldogs found the end zone again on a fumble recovery scoop-and-score by Keegan Crosson. The defense held strong all day as Anders Bjorn dominated with an interception and three sacks. Other sacks on the day were recorded by Nathan Focht, Kolbie Morris, and Austyn Navidad. Kellen Focht also forced and recovered a fumble. The Bulldogs will prepare this week for Wolfe City, who they play next Saturday at noon.
