Youth baseball and softball signups underway Howe Youth Baseball and Howe Youth Softball have hosted their first signups. Baseball is clocking in a few registrations down from a year ago. Only one child has signed up for the 6U age group with six in 8U, seven in 10U, five in 12U, and eight in 14U. Howe Youth Softball has around 50 girls signed up which is also down from last season. Online signups are open until Feb. 5 and they’ll host an additional inperson sign-up next weekend along with baseball. Both baseball and softball are seeking 6U players. Softball is searching for 12U and 15U players. Baseball registration is in-person only and is $110 for the first
player and there is a discount if you have more than one playing. To sign up, you’ll need to bring the player’s birth certificate. The remaining in-person sign-up dates are Feb. 6, and Feb. 13 from 11 am—2 pm at the Howe Intermediate/Middle School cafeteria. Softball registrations can be done online by clicking here. The cost for softball is $100 per player and $90 per additional player. Softball is offering full uniforms for the registration fee which includes a jersey top, pants, socks, and a belt.
