Howe Theater ends great season with the play "Clue"
Lone Stars Hoops returns to Howe for 20th year For the 20th consecutive summer, Lone Stars Hoops Camp is approaching Howe parents with information regarding a traditional basketball event that their kids may have come to love and even count on to help develop what they like to refer to as the player's "5-points" of sound fundamental basketball skills - shooting, passing, ballhandling, footwork and defense.

All the famous characters from the board game (Professor Plum, Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Miss Peacock, and Mr. Green) were brought to life and trapped in Boddy manor. This served as the final performance and the very last performance for the seniors. "Some of my seniors also served as directors, which let them have a bigger role and more control over ideas and concepts within the show, and they completely owned it," said Katie Wilson, instructor. She continued by saying Cameron Garner, Alex Kellam, and Dyson Dillard all went above and beyond in helping to get the show made. Garner focused on helping others with their acting and with blocking the scenes, Alex Kellam took charge of the set and props, finding and organizing and making sure everything was where it needed to be at the right times, and Dillard completely ran the technical side of things, the lights
and sounds. This show also served as their final exam for the spring semester. "It was a great show to say goodbye to some of my kids that I've had for several years, but it also served to introduce some younger kids to theater, and I think we have found a couple of underclassmen that are very talented," said Wilson.
