The Area Champion Howe Lady Bulldogs finished fifth as a team at Regionals in Whitehouse, Texas. The track season is not over as two Lady Bulldogs have punched their ticket for the state meet in Austin. Marissa Agee was the 800-meter regional champion as she broke her own school record time with a run of 2:15.93. Bethany Masters also set the school record in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.07 which was good for second place at regionals. Both Agee and Masters will compete at the University of Texas 3A State Meet on Friday, May 10. Agee will run in the 800 meters at 6 pm while Masters will run the 300-meter hurdles at 8:55 pm.
