Howe Elementary Employee of the Month for November My name is Donna Weir and I am currently a second grade teacher at Howe Elementary in Howe, Texas. This is my 25th year of teaching and I can’t believe it! I have taught in Texas and Florida. I love every minute spent with my students and learn so much from them each and every day. I was born in San Antonio, Texas and my husband and I grew up in the Houston-Galveston area. My husband is an Aggie and I attended the University of Houston. I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a specialization in Reading. I am married to Scott and we have a precious dog named Baron. He is a golden retriever rescue and we love him more than words can say. We live in Melissa, Texas and we have seven nieces and nephews. They range in age from 22 years old down to 11! We adore each one of them! Our oldest nephew Taylor, has recently decided to join the
Donna Weir army and we are very proud of him. My hobbies include teaching, shopping, and spending time with family whenever I can! I am so happy to be a part of Howe ISD! Go Bulldogs!
