Lady Bulldogs blow out Van Alstyne, 12-2 to finish district play

Michelle Carney/Howe Enterprise Despite being delayed by one day due to field conditions and despite trailing early in the game, the Howe Lady Bulldogs (13-4) finished out district play by scoring 12 unanswered runs and slammed the door shut on the District 10-3A schedule with a record of 9-3. Nominees for Volunteer Organization of the Year are Feed My Sheep, Keep Howe Beautiful and the Howe Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets are $15 and are available at the chamber office at 101 E. Haning Street.
