Hargrove throws no-hitter for Lady Bulldogs

Photo by Michelle Carney Wednesday was a day Madisyn Hargrove will remember forever as she threw a no-hitter in the Lady Bulldogs' 14-1 victory over Ponder . No Ponder batter was able to locate Hargrove's pitches during the game. She struck out seven batters and walked none while recording her momentous feat. Eleven runs in the first three innings helped the Lady Bulldogs blow out Ponder . A passed ball, an RBI single by Kayla Anderson, and a two-run home run by Payton Griffin during the first inning and and a sacrifice fly by Hargrove in the second inning helped the Lady Bulldogs put some runs on the board early. Peyton Streetman boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 2 for 2 day at the plate to pace the Lady Bulldogs. She doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.
