Whitney Kirby was named the Cheerleading MVP

The Girls Track MVP was freshman Bethany Masters who is competing in regional competition Dawson McDonald was named Boyd Track MVP

Each year Leon Thornhill announces two athletes to receive the Dickey Thornhill Memorial Scholarship. This year's recipients were Stratton Carroll and Darci Foster

The Howe Athletic Booster Club has raised over $20,000 each of the past two years under the leadership of President Ken Honaker Some of their accomplishments were producing a full color football program with over 70 pages They had a funnel cake booth at the Fall Festival and had raffle baskets at football and basketball games They provided hospitality rooms for several events and hosted the annual powerlifting meet The booster club also purchased a cargo trailer for the athletic department They added bullpens for softball and baseball and purchased new purchased new shooting shirts for the boys basketball team and shoulder pad bags and travel shirts for the football team as well as footballs The booster club also paid for the Hudl Software for boys and girls athletics

Over $2,000 in scholarships were awarded by the booster club to athletes

For her contributions to the Howe Athletic Booster Club, Sharon Carroll was given the Bulldogs #1 Fan award the Howe Athletic Booser Club is an independent organization designed to support, promote, encourage and assist in financing extra-curricular athletic activities

Membership in HABC is open to parents, family members, businesses and community members who desire to support HHS boys and girls athletic programs.

HABC meets the second Monday of each month in the HHS Lecture Hall Officer elections for vice president and secretary will be held at the May meeting
