Lady Bulldogs flood opponents

Enterprise Photo by Michelle Carney The Howe Lady Bulldogs, (10-11) were able to get two games in this week before the rain-laden spring break wiped out baseball and softball all across North Texas. But it was Howe that flooded their opponents with 25 runs in two games on Monday.

The Lady Bulldogs started with Gunter on Monday mid-morning with an 8-run second inning. Coach Glenn Banker then turned to Hargrove to pitch versus Pilot Point later that afternoon. She went six strong innings, allowing two hits, one earned run and fanning six in the 13-3 win.

Griffin racked up six RBIs on three hits in the game. The Lady Bulldogs answered Pilot Point 's top inning with four runs of their own in the sixth. Howe scored on a two-run double by Griffin, an RBI double by Maddie Mullins, and an RBI single by Erin Blackburn.
