Construction has begun on the new wedding venue
The view from the front door in the foyer area in front of the main auditorium area. Howe High School graduate Darrah Dunn along with his father Boyd Dunn have begun working on tearing out the bad wood that was in the floor and around the front entrance of the 123-year-old building in Howe that once housed the First Christian Church. City workers busted up the front concrete entrance so that the front of the building can soon be leveled. Once the leveling takes place, a wooden porch has been proposed with a handicap ramp to reach the sidewalk. Once the entrance is in place, the
will start working inside the auditorium with electric and seal coating the original wood. Additional bathroom(s) are also being discussed as well as an additional "grooms room." The kitchen will be fully made-over and the amber windows will be taken out and reused in different areas away from the main auditorium.
