Local candidates eager for tomorrow's results

Howe's That Voting takes place tomorrow and Howe's location is at the Community Center at 700 W. Haning Street. The polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm and you will need photo identification. Speaking of candidates and results. Depending on those results, I could make a promo of those who did and didn't advertise their campaigns in the Howe Enterprise. You can imagine how that might look. "These candidates advertised to 6,000 Howe readers and won. But these candidates failed to advertise in the Howe Enterpise. I have great respect for all of the candidates and wouldn't put that together...but the thought is so tempting. Youth baseball started this week and due to the wet fields, my 10U team had their first practice indoors. We had the annual very crucial "parent talk" which in turn should be way more important than the bunt, steal, and take signs that the kids learned. I would recommend any coach to have that parent talk and let them know immediately that yelling at umpires will not be tolerated. And yelling at your kid in a negative tone is just as bad. Baseball is a different animal than football. There's so much failure associated with this game. Please don't add fuel to the fire by making them feel worse about it.
